Prior to joining Mintz & Gold, Abbye served as the principal law clerk to the Honorable James E. d’Auguste, Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York County. She previously served as an assistant law clerk to the Honorable Kathryn E. Freed, Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York County.
Abbye received her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she was an articles editor of the Cardozo Law Review. Abbye also authored a note entitled “Collateral Estoppel in Attorney Disciplinary Proceedings: A Hobson’s Choice,” which received an honorific from the International Association of Defense Counsel and was published in Volume 81 of the Defense Counsel Journal. Abbye received her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University with a concentration in Law & Society.
Abbye is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
