Commercial Litigation

Mintz & Gold has a diversified commercial litigation practice. Our team of litigators is headed by Steven Mintz who oversees all of the firm’s litigation. The firm’s litigators regularly appear in state and federal courts, before various administrative agencies, and all major alternate dispute forums.

Our litigators routinely handle all types of contract and business disputes including:

  • partnership/shareholder disputes and dissolutions;
  • real estate litigation;
  • UCC merchant disputes;
  • copyright and trademark disputes;
  • construction litigation;
  • healthcare litigation;
  • enforcement of non-compete agreements restrictive covenants, and trade secrets.

In coordination with the Labor and Employment group, we also handle discrimination and wrongful termination actions as well as all types of disputes involving employment agreements, as well as wage and hour cases.

Our litigation attorneys pride themselves on their ability to see the big picture and not become so entrenched in a confrontational posture that they lose sight of the overall best interest of the client. As a direct result of the substantial costs associated with business disputes, the firm is keenly aware that it is often more advantageous and less expensive for our clients if we create leverage through strategic litigation with the goal of forcing an early settlement of the dispute. Indeed, in each and every case, individualized strategies are developed and implemented based upon the size of the dispute and the client’s goals and objectives.
